How it works

Sports4Causes is a new pilot ownership scheme which will be embedded into the sport, to support future growth, impact, and sustainability. We will be opening up the owners race day experience to racing fans nationwide to purchase on a one off basis at affordable rates.

The initiative is set to complement existing industry schemes, including the ongoing ownership initiatives and will be positioned to provide a clear pathway to convert racing fans to ownership.

Current racecourses affiliated with Sports4Causes include: Ascot,  Bath,  Brighton,  Carlisle,  Chepstow,  Doncaster,  Goodwood,  Hexham,  Lingfield Park,  Ludlow,  Newbury,  Newcastle,  Newmarket,  Plumpton, and  Windsor.

The Sports 4 Causes offering is only possible through the support of our affiliated owners who donate their badges which would otherwise go unused as well as the racecourses who have seen the value in what we are trying to achieve and in turn have chosen to facilitate the Sports 4 Causes offering at their courses. Those stakeholders combined has allowed us to give racing enthusiasts the opportunity to trial the racehorse owner experience before hopefully getting involved on a longer-term basis through syndicates, racing clubs or sole ownership.

Sports 4 Causes can assist in pointing customers who have enjoyed the ownership experience in the right direction when it comes to the various ownership models available, to suit every budget.

While we endeavour to create positive experiences for our customers on racedays, we are also thrilled that 50% of all badge revenue goes straight to Racing Welfare who do so much to support our industry and the people who work within it.

Sports 4 Causes is conscious that no negative impact should be caused to existing owners experience on racedays and have therefore but several provisions in place so that the Sports 4 Causes pilot scheme is a positive introduction for all.
